How to Book Serviced Apartments

Finding the best Serviced Apartment can be a difficult game; however when you win the gain is huge.  Avoiding the expensive hotels with their pricy restaurants, a traveller who prefers seclusion and over-the-top luxury, will get more space and privacy for his money by booking a Serviced Apartment.

Apart from the convenience, which is definitely the biggest advantage of a Serviced Apartment, one can come and go as one pleases, doing what one likes and when one likes.  Besides more space and privacy, Serviced Apartments offer a wide range of amenities without hurting the purse. You and your family can enjoy a local snack from the refrigerator when you want it. Or you can impress family and friends with your culinary talent when restaurants and dining out becomes commonplace, less nutritious and outrageously costly!

Premium Serviced Apartments are booked well in advance (often months) during peak season. Be the early bird that gets the worm. There are not many premium Serviced Apartments and if you postpone your vacation bookings you risk failing to get the premium apartment that you have heard about.
For the Easter, Summer Holidays, or the Diwali, Christmas and New Year seasons people do book months in advance.  It would be imprudent to depend on cancellations; so book well ahead of the seasons.

First define the type of Serviced Apartment that suits you best. Have a clear cut idea of your wants and needs.  The size of the party you are travelling with will decide many of your requirements.  For a romantic getaway you will have to consider if the ambiance of the Serviced Apartment is romantic.  It is useful to look at the pictures of the Serviced apartment.  And the location preferred may be a quiet residential street and not in the middle of a bazaar.
If you are traveling with family you will need more rooms and they should be easy of access from one another. Children too if they sleep in another room it should be near where the parents sleep.

If you are taking a short term rental for a few weeks, you should check the laundry facilities.  If you wish to do self catering you should check if provisions are easily procured and the facilities of the kitchen are adequate.

If noise affects you easily ask about the neighbouring buildings and avoid ones that house a pub or a restaurant.   A cinema hall or a public building where meetings take place can be a source of disturbance. So too will street traffic on the roads.

A lot of information can be had  from speaking to the owner of the Serviced Apartment. E-mailalone may not gfive you an idea of the facilite and the type of service to be expected. Afriendly chat will go along way in your making up your mind about what the place will be like.  An owner who will answer all  your questions is sure to be friendly and helpful when you arrive there. You cannot conclude whether you like the person or not from typed messages.

Speak with the persons, hear their responses and trust your intuition.
